Going Manual with your DSLR

June 25, 2012

Do you have a DSLR camera but still have it set on automatic?  It’s time to learn how to expose your photos manually and take control of your ISO, aperture and shutter speed.  Learning how to better take control of your camera is one of the best ways to start improving your photography skills.  Join us on July 19th at 7pm for our going manual workshop.

Please RSVP as soon as possible by emailing

Thank you to Jayme Ann Photography for being available to help out our Nikon girls!

Assuming having a point and shoot with manual settings would still work at this workshop ?

Unfortunately point and shoots with manual settings don’t have the same full functionality as DSLR’s on manual. What a point and shoot will call f/3.5 does not have the same effect as a DSLR at that aperture number. While you are welcome to come to the workshop even if you don’t have a DSLR, there will not be time for any help in using manual settings on point and shoot cameras.
