Photography Composition: Fill the Frame

Filling the frame is another composition idea to try.  You may know this as a close up, or think of it as a detail photo (even though it isn’t necessarily).   With this composition idea  all you’re doing is filling the frame with the subject, the whole frame.  There should be no question as to what the subject of your photo is.  Think you’re close, get a little closer.  Just be careful not to get a blurry shot, especially if you’re using a point and shoot camera.  A great way to avoid this is to pull back and crop your photo later in post processing.
